In a game of reserves and roster hopefuls, the Redskins closed out the 2007 preseason with a 31-14 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.
The Redskins' preseason record was 2-2, an improvement over last year's disappointing 0-4 mark.
Next time, the Redskins suit up, the games will be for real. The Redskins open up against the Miami Dolphins on Sept. 9 at FedExField.
"I'm ready for the regular season--I can tell you that," head coach Joe Gibbs said after the game.
