Skins need to rebound against ailing Eagles

Now I really don't know what the hell happend last Sunday, because I couldn't watch the game, so all I can figure is that actual Redskins team must have been kidnapped, and some PeeWee team had taken their place. I haven't seen any highlights or heard any commentary about it, I have avoided all of that since it's too depressing. Hopefully the real team has been released and will show up against the Eagles this coming Sunday night. TO is doubtful and Mcnabb is hurt too so maybe that will be to our advantage. Come on guys we have to stay in this thing!! The best thing of all is that I can actually watch this game, so its going to be a great weekend!!

All-time, the Redskins are 11-10-1 on Sunday Night Football on ESPN and are 3-7-1 in night games at FedExField. The Redskins have been playing well at home in 2005, entering Sunday night's game with a 3-0 home record.

The Redskins and Eagles have met a total of 139 times over their long rivalry, dating back to 1934.

These two teams last played in week 14 of the 2004 season with the Eagles winning at FedExField on Sunday Night Football by a score of 17-14. The Redskins had a scoring opportunity late in the game, but Patrick Ramsey's pass was intercepted in the end zone, thwarting a comeback.

The Redskins hold the series lead with a record of 72-62-5, but the Eagles have won the last seven games. Up until the Eagles' win streak, the clubs had split victories dating back to 1996, with each team winning one regular season contest per year.

The two teams have met only once in postseason play, in 1990, with the Redskins winning that contest by a score of 20-6.
