Anti-spyware group unveils guidelines

Coalition aims to educate consumers about what to look out for.

NEW YORK - A coalition of anti-spyware vendors and consumer groups published guidelines Thursday to help consumers assess products designed to combat unwanted programs that sneak onto computers.

http://www.antispywarecoalition.org/ released the guidelines for public comment and also updated a separate document that attempted to craft uniform definitions for "spyware" and "adware" in hopes of giving computer users more control over their machines.

Keep your system clean , I use 7 different anti-spyware programs on my system since they all do different things to keep you safe. Everyone should have at the least S&D SPYBOT SEARCH AND DESTROY, LAVASOFT ADAWARE, and JAVACOOL'S SPYWARE BLASTER which works to prevent shit from ever being installed in the first place.
