The trip to NC to see Chris and his family went well. It turned out to be just John and myself, since Dave chose not to go. I am very proud of Chris, and the progress he has made with his life. It was great to meet his wife and children, and I really enjoyed seeing Frank his older brother, who constantly reminded me that I must become a Battlefield 2 player. I will have to get that game for myself and Spencer so we can all have some fun together. I remember as kids Chris jokingly talking about becoming a mercenary, well I have to say he has achieved the skills to do so from what I heard. To become a Green Beret is quite a feat, I am extremely envious!! He ships out in a few weeks and I pray he will return to us safe and sound.
